Reflection:
Looking at my work so far in Spanish, I would say that something I'm already good at in the class is the reading aspect of the language. I've always been able to learn or pick up words easier when I see them written out on the board or in my own notes. I think is is mostly because I love note taking as it is, so when it comes to grasping new words or conjugations, that is my go-to.
I've never been good at memorization, and I think moving forward with Spanish that is one skill I really want to improve on since when it comes to learning a new language, there is a new set of rules to remember when speaking it such as the conjugations. I think in order to increase my vocabulary and comfortability with the language I'll take advantage of the Spanish speakers in my family to get more and more comfortable with being uncomfortable. I think Duolingo is another great tool when it comes to learning a new language- especially the vocabulary end of the class.
I think as we wrapped up our first video of the semester, all the thanks goes to my partners, Katie and Carly.
