Have your study habits evolved this semester?
This year I have remained consistent with my study habits and have kept a planner this quarter to keep track of all my assignments and club meetings. By doing so, I stay more organized and have been able to stay on top of my work in all my classes. I plan on continuing the use of my planner all year. I am a very organized person, so keeping tabs on upcoming dates and work has allowed me to spread out my work and use my time efficiently.
What is your classroom behavior and participation like?
My goal in each class is to have outstanding class participation as well as class behavior. At HTH, time is something you can't waste, and everyday I come into my classes ready to work and grow as a person. By tenth grade, I know how to balance work time and social time, and know when I need to step up in my classes or step down. For example: In humanities I participate in reading Shakespeare plays, but know when it's time to step down and let one of my peers read a role instead.
How can you improve your study habits/ class behavior throughout the year?
I think that there is always room for growth, and as the year continues I will continue to exhibit good behavior in and out of class and participate in my classes. I will use resources such as our folder in Mrs. Howard's class and my planner to stay organized and stay on top of my work. I function best in organized spaces, so the best goal I have is to continue to have organized backpacks, folders, binder,s etc.
